“Wareham Walks for the Homeless” Fundraiser
Perhaps you have been concerned about the homeless when we have faced severe winter storms and below zero temperatures. Perhaps you have wondered if there was something you could do to help the homeless or those who face the daily threat of homelessness. Yes, there is something you can do.
On Sunday, May 18, the Wareham Area Clergy Association is sponsoring a 5-mile walk in support of Turning Point ( https://turningpointwareham.org ) and its work to assist the homeless and near homeless of our area. The walk is called “Wareham Walks for the Homeless,” and begins at 1:00pm. The 5-mile Walk will start and end at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wareham (74 High Street). Please consider supporting this fundraiser by becoming a walker or by donating to those who will be walking. If you would like to walk, a walker sponsor form, walker information sheet, and a Turning Point flyer can be downloaded on the right side of this page. For more information, please call the Church of the Good Shepherd (508-295-2840) or any Wareham church.
Together we can make a difference, one step at a time.
